Singapore

A city-state with a population of 5.7 million people. They have 3 main ethinic groups: Chinese (74%), Malays (13%), and Indians (9%). They also have the most bizarre laws in the World with punishments that include fines, caning, and even public shaming. (Check it out)

Where To Stay

We stayed at ‘Beary Good Hostel’. It’s a central location near the infamous Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Gardens by the Bay, Art & Science Museum, and China Town.

What To Do

1)  Water Fountain Show @ The Sands Hotel:
Every night starting at 8pm & 9pm, there’s a beatiful fountain show outside of the hotel, located in the bay.

2) Walk around China Town & Little India:
Located in 2 different parts of the city, these neighborhoods offer some incredible cultural expierences. China Town has a Temple and amazing street food. While Little India has some jaw-dropping street art and architecture (walk by Masjid Sultan).

3)  Gardens by the Bay:
It expands over 250 acres and has the Worlds largest Green house.

4)  Check out ArtScience Museum:
Probably one of favorite places I’ve ever visited, this is the first museum dedicated to only Art & Science.

5)  Stroll through the Botanical Garden:
A giant Garden that features treetop walking bridges, sculptures, lakes, and a vast amount of plants and trees. Plan a few hours here as it is a large area!
