Da Nang

Located in Central Vietnam near the East Sea, Da Nang is an Important port city. It is known for the beautiful sandy beaches which provide incredible sunsets. It's also surrounded by mountains with amazing views.

How to Get to Here:

We didn’t stay in Da Nang. We took a private car from Hue to Hoi An, making stops along the way. When we got to Hoi An, we rented motorbiks and took a day trip through Da Nang up to Bà Nà Hills.

Things You Can Do:

1) Sun World Bà Nà Hills

Such a fun place for people of all ages! Make sure you go there early in the morning, there’s a lot to do and see!

2) Marble Mountain

A group of 5 marble/lime stone hills named after elements (Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth). It is also a buddhist sancturary with caves, temples, and viewpoints.

3) Hải Vân Pass

If you take a ride from Hue to Hoi An (or vice versa), you’ll go over this pass. Spectacular views overlooking Da Nang and the East Sea.

4) Ban Co Peak

A peak that reaches 2,273 feet. On top, it pays tribute to the great philosopher Confucius. It also has panoramic views of the area.

5) My Khe Beach

One of the most popular beaches in Da Nang, and once named the most luxurious in the World. My Khe Beach stretches over 20-miles.

6) Tiên Sa Beach

Off the beaten path, this beach is a lot more secluded. It has a unique beauty that’s surrounded with lots of trees and flowers, and blue water.
